If I use a wand while aiming at a pet my server crashes. #4410

Summary

I used my wand, but accidentally aimed at my pet while being mounted. This caused my server to crash. After the restart I basically tried to figure out what happened and noticed that everytime I use my wand while aiming towards the pet it will just crash the server.

Steps to reproduce

Aim wand at pet, use wand.

[Setup] Minecraft server version: 1.20.1 MCPets 4.1.0 ModelEngine 4.0.2 MythicMobs 5.4.1

Current behavior

It crashes my server.

Intended correct behavior

The wand should perform its action.

It is complaining about missing a method that exists in Paper. Since you are using Purpur, we do not officially support it, but can you check if updating to the latest version fixes the issue?

I ran into a similar issue where using a wand aimed at a pet crashes the server—super frustrating! It reminded me how careful I am when choosing pets from reliable places, like dog breeders colorado. Colorado’s Finest Kennels and Ranch really focus on healthy, well-balanced dogs, which made me appreciate stable setups even more. Hopefully, the devs patch this soon so we can avoid these crashes and enjoy smoother gameplay with our in-game pets. If anyone figures out a workaround, please share!
