zip file closed Error

Unknownreported this bug

Sometimes, when spawning an entity, it appears as a pig until it exits and re-enters the server.

Furthermore, after reloading the server, the model stops completely and does not work. When the model is summoned and then reloaded, if you try to hit the model, it exits from the server and displays an error message.

And when reconnecting to the server, an unmodified pig is summoned instead of the model being applied

ps. I am using the model engine through an API without Mystic Mob. I would like to know how to prevent the model from spawning as the original entity (in the given example, a pig).

Unknowncommented

After reloading, when I summon the model, a pig is summoned instead of the model. I have to exit and re-enter to see the model.

Can you try updating your paper first? The latest 1.20.1 is Paper 196.

I have uploaded a video on YouTube as an unlisted video to demonstrate an issue that occurred after I updated the server software (Paper) to its latest version. Here's a summary of the issue:

When I spawn a mob for the first time after starting the server, instead of the custom model I applied, the base model (a pig) appears. I need to leave and re-enter the server for the custom model to become visible. If the server is reloaded while the custom model mob is spawned, the mob stops moving. Interacting with this immobile model results in a 'zipFileClosed' error. To ensure that this wasn't caused by a plugin conflict or an issue with a plugin I developed, I tested this with only the MEG 4 plugin installed and all others removed.

Have you tried not using the reload command? Also, I looked at the erred line and didn't see anything wrong, and this error seems to relate to a corrupted jar file. Can you try redownloading meg?

I'm truly sorry to bother you during your busy time, and I want to express my gratitude for your response.

When I use the reload confirm command, is it not supposed to work? Even if I download and install the MEG plugin again, the same error occurs.

The problems can be summarized as follows:

After turning on the server or after reloading, the applied model does not appear and the base entity (pig) is visible.

The model only becomes visible when a player exits and re-enters.

If I reload while the model is summoned and interact with the model (e.g., hitting it), I get a 'zip file closed' error and am disconnected from the server.

Even after updating the paper bucket, there are no errors in the server log, but the problems of being kicked from the server or the model not appearing have not been resolved.

it seems like the issue is unresolved... im reaching out again due to the lack of response..!

Unknowncommented

Without a way to reproduce it I don't know how to fix it.

Unknowncommented

Oh... Was this a problem that only I was experiencing? Is there a minimum environment required to use the model engine? For example, do I need to use it with certain plugins, or set spigot.properties, etc.?

Unknowncommented

Just run paper with Model Engine. That is the minimal environment. You can also include MythicMobs.

"Could it possibly be an issue with the model? The bucket is normal, and I haven't added any other plugins. Then, the only remaining problem could be with the model itself. Could you possibly send me an example model?

Unknowncommented

The method to reproduce this error is not that difficult. Just summon the model and type the ./reload confirm command, then the model stops! It does not resume even after the reload is finished. Is this error only happening to me?

Unknowncommented

Reloading the server is generally ill-advised. The command even tells you the server might break. I am not responsible for anything that breaks after you perform such command.
