Unexpected Error When Running Build Script on Windows 10

Hi team, I’m running into a recurring issue when trying to execute the project’s build script on Windows 10 (64-bit). Every time I run the command, the process stops with an unexpected error message:

ValueError: Failed to load configuration file

I’ve tried the following steps already:

Reinstalled all dependencies

Cleared cache and rebuilt

Verified file paths and permissions

Tried running both PowerShell and Command Prompt

The strange part is that the same script works perfectly fine on my Linux machine, so it seems to be a Windows-specific problem.

Has anyone else encountered this? Or is there a recommended fix or workaround? Any help would be greatly appreciated — thanks! doodle baseball

The activation issues started when I cloned the system to a new NVMe drive. Everything transferred fine except the license. I saw mentions of kmspico online while browsing troubleshooting tips and thought maybe that's why activation had randomly worked on another computer years ago. But this time, the solution was simple: I signed in to my Microsoft account and reassigned digital rights to the new hardware. After syncing, the watermark disappeared.
