For custom minecraft model jsons (items or helmets) you can add emission to certain parts of the model. Example of an "element" with emission ("light_emission": 15)

{
    "name": "light"
    "from": [7, 2, 3],
    "to": [9, 4, 3],
    "light_emission": 15,
    "rotation": {"angle": 0, "axis": "y", "origin": [7, 1, 2],
    "faces": {
        "north": {"uv": [10, 1, 11, 2], "texture": "#0"},
        "east": {"uv": [16, 0, 16, 1], "texture": "#0"},
        "south": {"uv": [10, 0, 11, 1], "texture": "#0"},
        "west": {"uv": [16, 0, 16, 1], "texture": "#0"},
        "up": {"uv": [16, 0, 15, 0], "texture": "#0"},
        "down": {"uv": [16, 0, 15, 0], "texture": "#0"}
}

What i would like to see is something in the direction of:

myEmissionLight:
    Material: PAPER
    Display: 'my cool item with emission'
    Generation:
        Model: whatever/model_with_a_emission_part
        EmissionParts:
            - 'light' 15

Where in this case any cubes or "elements" with the name "light" would get emission with a value of 15 added to their "element" in the resulting json.

Ignore this one since its already an option in blockbench i wasnt aware of. i also dont know how to delete a ticket so....

I just found out that the emission doesnt actually make it into the generated json, its set to 15 in the .bbmodel but the "light_emission": 15 never makes it to the json in the generated texture pack.
