dungeon is saving, please wait and try again #5030

the error i get in the console when trying to save a dungeon. i also cannot load into the same dungeon because it gives the error dungeon is saving, please wait and try again! i was able to look at the closed issues and it seems a similar issue to what someone else was struggling with and said it should be fixed in the latest snapshot, unfortunately it doesn't appear to be fixed.

This is now not only affecting the new dungeon i am trying to create but has broken my previously working dungeon.

I really hope you're able to help with this as i bought the lifetime mythic dungeons and have plans to build several dungeons for my server.

i closed this as it seemed to be fixed but unfortunatly it is not. updated so i am currently on dungeons 1.4.0

Hey there. I am pretty sure I know the problem here; when you first add a dungeon map after say copying it in, you need to restart the server, as file permissions needs to be updated. This is something I've personally encountered with Pterodactyl panel especially.

Having said that, I've implemented a bandaid fix in the latest dev build that should at least prevent the dungeon from getting stuck in that "dungeon is saving!" warning. But the underlying issue is that your worlds aren't able to save because there are insufficient file permissions, which is usually resolved by a restart of the server in my experience. If not, let me know.
