I can't get zombies to stop spawning.

I want to disable zombie spawning so I can create my own zombies but I can't find a way to do it. How could I do it?

If you mean to replace the Vanilla Zombies with your own, you should name your mob (Internal Name) "Zombie". This way it will naturally replace the vanilla zombie.
