Summary
Be able to log item drops to flatfile/mysql OR run a command alongside the item drop with a placeholder for the item Name/Lore/Attributes
Usage
To track and monitor item drops, to see if we got them right, need to adjust or if players found a way to cheat bosses.
Value
- Allows owners to test their droprates for items to protect their server from bad actors
- Analytics for tweaking mob drops
Priority
Relativly high, I would have suspected this be an early addition to Mythic, especially since its mostly run on survival servers.
Implementation
Few ideas:
- Built in logger that captures all drops, with a way to toggle each/all events from mythic into a flatfile/databse (prefered database)
- A single command that can be run from the item droptable, that can run placeholders for item namelore/attribures that can be passed to a third party logging system
- Allow running a command in addition to the drop seperated by a commer
